Ayubia Chairlift was installed in 1950-1960 at Ghora Dhaka near Khanaspur in the Murree Hills, Pakistan under the aegises of the Hazara Improvement Trust by Late Commissioner Muhammad Jan Khan.
Ayubia is a popular tourist destination in the Murree Hills. Apart from its chairlift, another interesting attraction is the Doongagali-Ayubia pipeline that culminates here.
It was the first chairlift of its kind in Pakistan when first installed. There are plans to install another chairlift in NWFP at Naran by the Sarhad Tourism Corporation.
